While I received the PDFs many months ago, I finally received the hard copies of the d20 Tolkien RPG System based on The One Ring (TOR) by Cubicle 7: "Adventures in Middle-earth Players guide" for 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons. You can count on this version being at next year's Tolkien Moot XIII!

After years of the Plone developers not resolving the problem with registration spam that I was reporting, one of the developers finally helped me directly, and after several stop-gap attempts, they acknowledged the problem and have finally fixed it. So at long last, the Middle-earth Role-Playing community can try to come back to life. REGISTER now!

While they did a decent job with the adaptation of The One Ring RPG (TOR) to Dungeons & Dragon (D&D) 5th Edition (5e), they left out a few great parts from TOR.
Most notably the Fellowship Focus.
Also instead of Hope points, they only have th D&D5e Inspiration which is quite different.
They did at least keep the Shadow Points and many other great mechanisms that make for much better role-playing gaming than straight 5e.
We use it regularly in our weekly GM trainings and in our weekly community programs.
Several of us prefer TOR far more, but it is easier to bring D&Ders into Middle-earth with AiMe with a system they are familiar with. For new RPGers, that have never played before and don't have any RPG system biases, we think TOR is much better.
