Near this Falathrin haven lies a large wood. Persistent rumours of a small drake in the forest have never been verified. Some Elven loremasters surmised it was a lost member of the Dark Host which assailed the realm in the Second Age, only occasionally venturing from it slumbers. But it has shown considerable flightiness, and most sightings were of it carrying off lambs (the Elves here raise sheep). Searches have not yet availed its lair, however. The forest is also known to harbour faerie peoples.
